Being part of a creative team is inspiring. Perhaps since I played soccer most of my life—I feel comfortable working with others and finding systems to solve problems within teams. At times it’s more challenging than designing or coding is on my own, though working as part of a team is well worth the effort.

I have found the Washington DC Area provides a wide range of opportunities to utilize the web, publications and presentation design skills I’ve developed over the past fifteen years. I love being in the classroom and sharing industry experiences with my students.
Using my design skills in order to communicate ideas is extremely rewarding; sharing industry knowledge with students—equally so.
